Kate Pierson

Pierson is the owner of Kate's Lazy Meadow Motel in Mount Tremper, New York, a rustic modern motel in New York's Catskill Mountains near Woodstock, New York.[3] She operates the motel with her partner in business and life, Monica Coleman. In an interview with B-52s frontman Fred Schneider, Kate stated that this is her first relationship with a woman--and hopefully last, as she intends to stay with Coleman.[citation needed] Pierson and Coleman have been together since 2003.[4][dead link][5][dead link][6][7] For many years, she lived together with famed visual artist Tim Rollins of Group Material and Tim Rollins and K.O.S. According to The B-52's Universe by Mats Sexton, she met Brian Cokayne in Ireland in the early 1970s. They married a few years later, but were divorced around 1979.
